DAVIS W. MORGAN

Senior Pastor

A native Texan, Davis came in 2020 as the next senior pastor of Westside Church. He’s been married to his wonderful wife, Tiffany, for thirteen years, during which God has blessed them with three beautiful children: June, Maximus, and Asa. Davis loves theology & apologetics, Texas BBQ, rucking outdoors with his wife, and wrestling with his kids. He passionately believes in the power of the means of grace for building up of his own soul as well as the souls of others. He’s committed to expository preaching, biblical liturgy, and Texas BBQ as the best BBQ, period. He enjoys conversation over beverages and encouraging folks to find their identity in Jesus.

What do you want for the culture of Westside?

That Westside Church would live in accordance with its identity as an embassy of grace, where in spite of our sin & failures, we are welcomed by God in Jesus through the ministry of the Holy Spirit week in and week out. And that in turn, we would be a welcoming and loving community who rejoices at the wonder of grace that we get experience and share with the world.

What do you love about you role as Senior pastor?

That Jesus would use someone who is a fellow struggler with sin to administer His means of grace and then getting to see the power of that grace at work in the lives of His people is something truly amazing that I do not take for granted.
